How many licenses do I need?

Hi! I'm interested in purchasing CleanMyMac, but I'm concerned from all the posts I've seen regarding troubles with Activation numbers, Permanent numbers, etc.

If I buy one Lifetime activation, can I use it on both of my computers? I have an iBook with OS X 10.4.11, and a new iMac OS X 10.6.3. Or do I need to buy two licenses?

I believe that as long as you are the sole user and the short username of both accounts on both computers is the same, you can use it on both. But just wait for confirmation from Greka.

In general - CleanMyMac is licensed per machine (1 license - 1 Mac), because it basically is a utility.
That is why we have the special Double-Pack and Family-Pack offers at our store. This makes it much cheaper for those who need multiple licenses.

However, we allow our customers to use one license on two Macs, but this will only work if you have exactly the same short usernames on them (Home Folder names). This way you will purchase one license - activate it with your original number, receive your permanent number for your username and use this permanent number to activate on the second Mac. But that is sort of a workaround that we allow to use, it does not mean that you have two licenses.

If you have different short usernames on the Macs - go for the Double-Pack.

You need one license per computer.
If your mac is stolen, email macpaw at support@macpaw.com, or go on the retrive lost lisence page and get your key back, or just ask for a new one.
